The Hong Kong Prize
The Hong Kong Prize is an annual scientific research award given to Hong Kong researchers who have made exceptional contributions in one or more fields of science or technology, while also managing to leverage those achievements into tangible social benefits. It aims to promote scientific research while cultivating future generations of scientists in Hong Kong.
Since 2022, the Hong Kong Prize has been presented annually and this year its nomination scope was expanded to include scientists across Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Alongside rewarding winners of each category and encouraging innovation through workshops and conferences, it also serves to celebrate excellence in research with its name becoming synonymous with top scientific awards in Asia.
